What is a Xlider?

THE Xlider, as i understand it, is a new-fangled 2 piece skateboard, independently used by each foot, in the style of a hybrid-skateboard/rollerblade :)

The only difference from a blade being that it has less wheels, and well, okay - a second difference now, is that it moves you sideways, not forwards or backwards 

I first encountered these interesting "self propelling" skates when on a business trip in the Philippines.
